Feeding the Soil, Not the Lawn
Trees in a forest feed themselves. Leaf litter breaks down, the soil stays loose and alive, and roots spread out to find what they need. A tree in a Houston-area yard gets none of that — the leaves are bagged, the soil is compacted clay, and turf grass takes the water and nutrients before the tree ever sees them.
Broadcast fertilizer on the surface mostly feeds that grass. Deep root fertilization solves the problem by putting a custom liquid blend under pressure directly into the top 8 to 12 inches of soil, where the fine feeder roots live, on a grid across the whole root zone.
The injection itself does a second job: each probe point fractures compacted soil and opens it up to air and water. The tree gets a meal and a better place to grow at the same time.
